Offered by Alliance Coastal Education LLC, the Heartsaver CPR AED First Aid training program is geared towards individuals who require a course completion card in CPR and AED used to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course reflects the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

What does this course teach?

This comprehensive course instructs participants on:

• The importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival
• The Chain of Survival concept
• Recognizing when someone needs CPR
• Performing high-quality CPR for an adult, child*, and infant*
• Effective mouth-to-mouth or mask ventilation for all age groups
• How to use an AED on an adult and child*
• Responding to choking emergencies in adults, children, and infants*

The Heartsaver First Aid course equips participants with the essential first aid knowledge for the most common emergencies. It covers the identification of such emergencies, how to call for help and the execution of lifesaving skills. This program adheres to the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.

Upon successful completion of the course, which includes a first aid skills demonstration, and a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.

These courses are designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory, or other requirements. They’re tailored to meet OSHA requirements and prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

On successful completion of the course, which includes a first aid skills demonstration, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card.

This course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card.

Students Receive: AHA Heartsaver® eCard in their email immediately after the course which is valid for 2 years
